My Journey as A designer
Hey there! I’m Gamaliel, a UI/UX Designer currently working at MVP.dev. Since February 2020, I’ve been designing the UI and UX of our projects, collaborating with an awesome team to bring our clients’ ideas to life.
Professional Journey
In my professional journey, I have been in the design industry for 12+ years. I played many different roles in my career. My journey began as a Graphic Designer at Sepom’s Digital Marketing, where I honed my skills in creating various design materials and engaging with clients directly. Transitioning into roles at Author Solutions Inc., I delved into web design using WordPress, crafting websites from authors around the world, and designing online advertisements for renowned publications such as Reader’s Digest and The New York Times.
UI/UX Expertise
My expertise further flourished as a UI/UX Designer at MVP.dev, where I’ve been instrumental in projects from concept into reality. Through research, wireframe, mockups and front-end development, I ensure that every design aligns seamlessly with client objectives and user needs. Collaborating closely with developers, I facilitate smooth design hand-offs and even assist in front-end development and/or fixing responsive design issues using low code/no-code technology.
Project-based Ventures
In addition to my core role, I engage in clients project at Bubblehelpers.com as project basis. Here, I tackle UI/UX challenges, communicating directly with clients to address concerns, crafting a lo-fi-to-hi-fi mockup, fix responsive design problems and collaborate with developers during development.
Creative Versatility
My creative journey spans across various mediums, from print materials like business cards and posters to dynamic digital assets. Proficient in Adobe XD, Figma, low code to no code platforms and adept at HTML/CSS, I possess a keen eye for detail and thrive in environments where innovation and collaboration converge.
Skills & Capabilities
- Proficient in Adobe Products (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe XD), HTML/CSS, and MS Office Applications.
- Experienced in wireframing, mockups, and prototyping using Figma or Adobe XD.
- Skilled in WordPress and Webflow for website creation, as well as Bubble.io for web/mobile app development (specializing in front-end and responsive web design).
- Good communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to evolving requirements.
